City wins four awards from Festivals and Events Ontario

 

Throughout the year, the City of Vaughan provides free, fun, family-friendly events that are also award-winning!

 

In recognition of its commitment to delivering Service Excellence, the City’s Recreation Services department received four awards from Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) for events held in 2023. These awards were presented during a special ceremonial presentation at today’s Committee of the Whole (2) meeting.

How are you observing Earth Hour this year? You’re invited to come to Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.) from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. for fun activities while doing your part to help protect our environment.

 

Here’s what’s happening at the City of Vaughan’s Earth Hour event:

B019/22

Consent is being requested to sever a parcel of land for residential purposes, approximately 11,440.00 square metres and retain a parcel of land approximately 190,870.00 square metres. Both the severed and retained land will have frontage onto Teston Road and the existing single family dwelling on the severed land is to remain. 

B014/22

Consent is being requested to sever a parcel of land for residential purposes, approximately 516 square metres and retain a parcel of land approximately 516 square metres. Both the severed and retained land will have frontage onto Crestwood Road and the existing structure is to be demolished.
