Now OPEN – the new Cortellucci Square!
We’re celebrating the renaming of Cortellucci Square, the first public park to open in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC)!
Located at 300 Maplecrete Rd., this vibrant square has become a popular destination since it opened in May thanks to its many amenities, including a winter skating loop, splashpad, unique playgrounds, benches, trees for shade, a pavilion with accessible restrooms and a room for community events.
Today, Mayor Steven Del Duca, Members of Council and residents were there to celebrate its new name: Cortellucci Square.
