There is something for everyone, including:
Let’s ‘spring’ forward!
Change your smoke and CO alarm batteries when you turn your clocks ahead
It’s that time of year when we lose one hour of sleep to gain one hour of sunshine. When you’re turning your clocks an hour forward today, be sure to also change the batteries in both your carbon monoxide (CO) and smoke alarms. As a general rule, it’s a good idea to change these alarm batteries every daylight savings – in the spring and in the fall.
Plan your escape this March Break
Create and practise a home escape plan with tips from Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service
While some people are looking to get away from the winter weather over March Break, Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service (VFRS) is encouraging everyone to plan for a different kind of escape. It’s important to prioritize fire safety and ensure everyone in your home is ready in the event of an emergency.
