Festival of Lights - About the Program

Festive lights and decorations are a hallmark of the holiday season, and, for many cultures and faiths, they are a meaningful symbol to get the community in the festive spirit at this time of year. In 2023, the City of Vaughan started a Festive Lights program to recognize those who go above and beyond to decorate their homes and properties with exceptional pride in their light displays. The program provides an opportunity for residents to celebrate each other’s cultures and Vaughan’s diversity.
