Celebrate the season at Winterfest

Annual award-winning festival has become a tradition for families

In its 29th year, Winterfest continues to bring families together to embrace everything wonderful about winter. Admission, activities and a pancake breakfast are free for all who attend.

Bundle up and join the fun on Sunday, Feb. 11 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Vellore Village Community Centre. An official welcome by Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of Council will take place at 11:15 a.m. on the outdoor stage. The free pancake breakfast will be served from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
 
Presented by TD and event sponsors CN and Tim Hortons, the festivity includes midway rides and inflatables, a tween spa, horse-drawn wagon rides, arts and crafts, a photo booth and more. Food is available for purchase in the Food-Zone. The entertainment lineup features:

  • President’s Choice® Super Dogs

Parking is available at Vaughan City Hall, 2141 Major Mackenzie Dr., or at Emily Carr Secondary School, 4901 Rutherford Rd. A free shuttle bus service will be provided by Can-ar Coach and will run to and from the event site between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Visitors can also park and walk from Fossil Hill Public School, 2 Firenza Rd., or St. Veronica Catholic Elementary School, 171 Maria Antonia Rd.
