City of Vaughan Festive Season Closure Hours
Vaughan City Hall and the Joint Operations Centre will be closed from Dec. 24, 2013 at 12 p.m. until Jan. 2, 2014.
Some City facilities and services will operate on alternate schedules over the holidays.
COMMUNITY CENTRES
The following community centres will be open on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31. All other community centres will be closed on those days.
- Al Palladini Community Centre – 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Father Ermanno Bulfon Community Centre – 5:50 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Garnet A. Williams Community Centre – 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Maple Community Centre – 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- North Thornhill Community Centre – 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Vellore Village Community Centre - 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The following community centres will be open on Dec. 26 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. All other community centres will be closed.

All community centres will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 and reopen during regular hours on Jan. 2. Please visit vaughan.ca/recreation or contact your local community centre for more information on holiday activity schedules.
VAUGHAN PUBLIC LIBRARIES
Vaughan Public Libraries will be open on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. All libraries will be closed on Dec. 25 and Dec. 26 and Jan. 1, and reopen during regular hours on Jan. 2.
VAUGHAN ANIMAL SERVICES
Vaughan Animal Services will be open on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (adoption hours are between 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. only). Animal Services will be closed on Dec. 25 and Dec. 26 and Jan. 1, and reopen during regular hours on Jan. 2.
