Swim lessons start on Jan. 6

Don’t let the chilly weather stop you from diving in the pool this season! Registration is now open for the City of Vaughan’s winter swim lessons. Programming starts on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024 at all community centre pools, except for the pool at Garnet A. Williams Community Centre, which remains closed due to ongoing renovations. Registration for aquatic leadership courses is open and ongoing.

Learn-to-swim programming caters to everyone — from parents with tots as young as four months old to levels specifically designed for adult non-swimmers. Training and certification in aquatic leadership courses for ages 13 years and older is aimed at preparing youth for employment as a swim instructor or lifeguard.

View the schedules at vaughan.perfectmind.com. The online registration system is available 24-7 and features enhanced search filters, allowing you to sort by level, location, day and time. Details can be found at vaughan.ca/swim
