Expanding Vaughan’s Smart Parks
Scan QR codes to report litter or make a service request
Service Excellence is a leading priority at the City of Vaughan – that’s why we’re expanding our SmartParks program to 50 new locations across the city!
SmartParks allows you to report problems such as litter or make a service request by simply scanning a QR code with your smartphone. The City introduced SmartParks as a pilot project in 2022 – and now, SmartParks is available in 65 locations across Vaughan! For the full list of parks included in the program, visit vaughan.ca/SmartParks.
This program was designed to make it easier for you to tell us if grass needs cutting, a playground needs repairing or garbage bins are full – with just a few clicks on your device! The QR codes are located on lamp posts near park entrances or amenities and fencing by gateway entrances to sports facilities. Accessing the City’s online services when you’re out and about has never been easier.
Littering and illegal dumping are prohibited under the Dumping By-law 103-2020 (PDF). To report illegal dumping in a City park or stormwater pond, contact Service Vaughan at 905-832-2281 or service@vaughan.ca.
