Community centres

The City has 10 community centres throughout Vaughan to serve the community. Whether you are visiting the fitness centre or indoor pool, or coming to purchase a new blue box, green bin or garbage tags – your local community centre is a one-stop shop.

Skating

Whether inside the arena or outside in the fresh air, the City has a variety of locations to lace up your skates for some winter fun. Pre-registration is required for indoor skating only. Outdoor rinks are subject to closures due to the weather.

Waste collection schedule

You’ve got mail! The City of Vaughan’s 2022 Waste Collection Schedule has been delivered to mailboxes across Vaughan. The new schedule offers a year at a glance of weekly and seasonal changes to services, including Double-Up Days and leaf and yard waste collection, all on one page.

Council meetings

While Vaughan City Hall remains closed to the public, there are many ways citizens can participate in meetings and have their say, including: speaking live via teleconference to Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of Council during a meeting, speaking live from a telephone (regular landline or cellphone) during the meeting or submitting a written communication for review by Members of Council as part of an agenda item.

Fitness

Find your strong at Vaughan Fitness centres, with convenient locations available throughout Vaughan. Citizens can enjoy flexible membership plans and payment options – along with membership renewal and family discounts, plus referral incentives.
