The City of Vaughan is developing a new Events Strategy and
your input is needed! The new Events Strategy will help identify opportunities
to grow and enhance event offerings in Vaughan to lead a more connected,
inclusive, progressive, responsible and sustainable city. Friday, July 29
is the last day to have your say on the future of events in Vaughan through an online survey. Resident
participation is at the heart of each event, and you are encouraged to share
your ideas and have your voice heard.
The City is committed
to delivering safe and exciting events which celebrate our community. Festivals
and events are important sources of civic pride and provide residents with an
opportunity to share and celebrate the social and cultural connections that unite
us. They also reflect the City’s commitment to active, safe and diverse
communities, which is a priority in the Council-approved 2018-2022 Term of
Council Service Excellence Strategic Plan.
