Enjoy family fun at its finest

Make Vaughan your destination for family fun! Vaughan community centres are open on Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21 for drop-in activities, including recreational and length swimming, family basketball, adult pickleball and youth badminton. In addition, fitness classes, such as bootcamp, barre, yoga, Zumba and spin, are available to individuals ages 13 and older. Program offerings vary by location. Pre-registration and pre-payment is available one week in advance of the scheduled activity. For schedules and links to online registration, visit vaughan.ca/recreation.

Visit Vaughan’s downtown core
The Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC) is an emerging arts, culture and entertainment district and home to Vaughan’s first university and subway station. It features the first City of Vaughan-curated panoramic art installation, Metropolis in Motion, at the south gateway of the VMC along Highway 7. This three-dimensional art mural by Vaughan-based artist Frank Mazzuca gradually reveals two different images depending on your viewing perspective. And when you get hungry, you can stop for some great food! Whether you’ve got a hungry family to feed or are looking for a quick snack, there are so many delicious options super close to the VMC. Check out local dining options – from restaurants to bakeries and cafés, you’ll find something to please every palate.

Shop until you drop!

From outlet malls to unique boutiques, check out great shopping options in and around the city. Vaughan plays host to a ton of amazing attractions: no matter what you’re looking for – roller-coasters, reptiles or LEGO bricks – you’ll find something for everyone to enjoy!
