Service and Sacrifice: Vaughan’s Contributions to Two World Wars, an exhibition featuring archival images and artifacts from the First and Second World Wars, will be on display in the Vaughan City Hall Atrium Gallery at 2141 Major Mackenzie Dr. starting on Nov. 1.
Service and Sacrifice: Vaughan’s Contributions to Two World Wars, an exhibition featuring archival images and artifacts from the First and Second World Wars, will be on display in the Vaughan City Hall Atrium Gallery at 2141 Major Mackenzie Dr. starting on Nov. 1.
Presented by the City of Vaughan, the exhibit will showcase reproductions of photos and documents as well as original artifacts commemorating residents from the former municipalities of Vaughan Township and the Village of Woodbridge who served overseas or contributed to Canada’s war efforts on the home front.
The exhibition offers a glimpse into the nature of service and sacrifice at the community level during both wars. It will be open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Nov. 1 to Nov. 27.
