Splash Into Summer At Thornhill Outdoor Pool

The Thornhill Outdoor Pool, located at 28 Centre Street, is now open for the 2012 summer season, offering public swimming, lessons and drop-in activities.
The pool’s regular hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and on weekends from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Labour Day. Special holiday hours from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. will be in effect for the Civic Holiday, August 6 and Labour Day, September 3.
Programs at Thornhill Outdoor Pool include aquafitness, recreational swimming, registered swimming lessons and other activities. Swimming lessons for all ages and abilities are available until Labour Day. Spaces are still available. Register online at www.RecEnrollVaughan.ca.
The Thornhill Outdoor Pool also will be extending recreational swimming hours until 10 p.m. during York Region-issued heat advisories. Patrons are advised to call the pool to confirm hours or visit vaughan.ca for updates.
