The City is offering kids’ programming on June 2

Do you have the Friday, June 2 P.A. Day on your radar? If not, don’t stress – the City of Vaughan is here to help! P.A. Day programs are available at Al Palladini, Chancellor, Maple, North Thornhill and Vellore Village community centres for children ages six to 13 years old. Pre-registration is required at vaughan.perfectmind.com.

P.A. Day programs include:

Conquer the court: squash (for ages nine to 13 years old)
Learn how to play squash from a pro – including game rules, tactics and practicing stroke techniques through drills tailored to individual ability. Off the court, challenge yourself to fitness activities, and get cross-training and nutrition advice to strengthen your squash game.

Paint your own pottery workshop: Animal Friends (for ages six to 12 years old)

Delivered in partnership with Mess for Fun

All fired up to create beautiful art on your day off from school? Paint your own one-of-a-kind piece of pottery and leave your finished creative gem with us to be glazed and fired in a kiln. The completed masterpiece will be packaged and ready to take home the following week. Note: the workshop includes one ‘ready-to-paint’ animal-themed pottery piece and supplies.

School’s Out! (for ages seven to 12 years old)

Looking for a fun way to spend your P.A. Day? Enjoy a day of camp activities, including games, sports, arts and crafts, outdoor play and special events while making new friends!
