WHAT:
The City of Vaughan’s award-winning annual Canada Day event will feature FREE admission, activities and entertainment for the whole family, including live performances, inflatables, rock climbing, a zipline, human foosball, giant soccer darts, a disco dome, a full accessible inflatable maze, face painting, arts and crafts, a business zone, and a food zone to make for a very entertaining day! Canada Day is presented by TD and event sponsors CN and Tim Hortons.
WHO:
Featured artists include JENNA Nation, Jordan John, Epic Journey Tribute, and headliner Virginia to Vegas, the 2018 Juno Awards Nominee for Breakthrough Artist of the Year. Headline entertainment will be hosted by Mocha Frap from KiSS 92.5.
There is no public parking available at the event site. Attendees are encouraged to take a free shuttle bus to the location. Buses will run between 11:30 a.m. and 9 p.m., and will pick up people at the following locations:
- Vaughan City Hall, 2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.
- Al Palladini Community Centre, 9201 Islington Ave. (Wheel-trans shuttle bus service will be available)
- Woodbridge Pool and Memorial Arena, 5020 Highway 7
- Vellore Village Community Centre, 1 Villa Royale Ave.
- North Thornhill Community Centre, 300 Pleasant Ridge Ave.
