Registration is now OPEN for the City’s recreation programs

The days are getting longer and that means spring is around the corner! Starting today you can register for the City of Vaughan’s spring recreation programs at vaughan.perfectmind.com. There is something fun and exciting for all ages and abilities. The full list of programs is available in the Spring Recreation eGuide. Highlights include:

  • Family (parent and child): archery, badminton, dance, music, mindfulness, crafting and themed workshops for Earth Day, Easter, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day
  • Preschool: drawing, dance, superhero training, sports, karate, STEM and Vaughan Playschool kindergarten readiness series (math, reading, writing, science, French and Italian)
  • Children: multimedia art, archery, gymnastics, dance, ukulele, guitar, cooking, martial arts, sports, pottery, robotics, astronomy and P.A. Day programs
  • Youth: bootcamp, cooking, painting, money management, taekwondo, email etiquette, computer programming, resume and job interview workshops and a volunteer leadership program that can lead to recreation volunteer positions at community centres
  • Adult: ballroom dancing, group personal training, nutrition, guitar, painting, racquet sports and new Vaughan Sports slo-pitch and ball hockey leagues
  • Older adult: chair fitness and yoga, line dancing, pickleball, arthritis fitness, tai chi and ukulele
  • Inclusion programs for individuals with disabilities: social and life skills, dance, gymnastics, sports, cooking, private music and education lessons

MARCH BREAK
Still looking for something to do during March Break? The City is offering March Break Camps from Monday, March 13 to Friday, March 17 at select community centres and the Vaughan Studios & Event Space for ages four to 15 years old. Limited spots in select camps are available for registration at vaughan.perfectmind.com.
