The City of Vaughan invites you to get into the ho-ho-holiday spirit at the annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.) on Friday, Dec. 6 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

On Nov. 1, the City held its annual Remembrance Month Ceremony at Vaughan City Hall to honour and remember Canadian service members, past and present.

Mayor Steven Del Duca presided over the City of Vaughan’s 2024 Order of Vaughan investiture ceremony at Vaughan City Hall yesterday evening. The Order of Vaughan is the highest civic honour the City of Vaughan may bestow on individuals who exemplify extraordinary citizenship and better the community.
As the downtown continues to build out, we’re updating our stormwater management and drainage strategy to better provide stormwater controls to reduce flooding and stormwater runoff onto streets, parks and lawns and to provide water quality control prior to stormwater reaching the natural watercourse.
Members of the community joined Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council for the City of Vaughan’s second annual Diwali celebration on Monday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. at Vaughan City Hall.
The event featured greetings from Mayor Del Duca, traditional music and dance performances, and complimentary refreshments.
