Donate to the City’s annual Toy Drive by Dec. 11

 

This time of year, everyone is busy making their lists and checking them twice. But don’t forget to donate to the City of Vaughan’s 14th annual Toy Drive in support of the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish! New unwrapped toys for children aged newborn to 18 years old continue to be collected until Monday, Dec. 11 and can be dropped off at any of the following Vaughan locations:

 

Dive into fun this winter!

Swim lessons start on Jan. 6

 

Don’t let the chilly weather stop you from diving in the pool this season! Registration is now open for the City of Vaughan’s winter swim lessons. Programming starts on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024 at all community centre pools, except for the pool at Garnet A. Williams Community Centre, which remains closed due to ongoing renovations. Registration for aquatic leadership courses is open and ongoing.

 

Vaughan’s 2024 Waste Collection Schedule is on its way!

Out with the old, in with the new! Get ready to look through next year’s waste collection services and key dates: the City of Vaughan’s 2024 Waste Collection Schedule will arrive in Canada Post mailboxes across Vaughan starting the week of Dec. 4! 

 

The new schedule is clear and concise with a fresh and colourful look that provides a year of waste services at a glance. It’s been made in a versatile format that can be easily posted on your refrigerator or garage wall, or folded up to have on hand when needed!
