We are committed to keeping you moving! As part of our efforts to improve transportation and mobility, reduce gridlock and help you travel seamlessly throughout the community, the City of Vaughan is extending Kirby Road between Dufferin Street and Bathurst Street.

Sports Village Park, located at 2600 Rutherford Rd., is approximately 7.6 hectares (19 acres) in size, and currently contains a junior baseball diamond, senior baseball diamond (with lighting), a double bocce ball court and pathways. The park also includes open greenspace and seating areas.

The City of Vaughan completed a needs assessment study for the park in July and August 2023 to better understand how community members use the park, how they would like to use it in the future and what amenities they felt were missing from it.

School is almost out for the summer, which means kids will be spending more time outdoors in our community. The City of Vaughan is reminding drivers to hit the brakes on speeding and put safety in the driver’s seat. Let’s all do our part to keep Vaughan’s roads safe this summer and beyond.
