Sam Roberts Band to headline Vaughan’s Canada Day celebration

So, don’t let life ‘pass you by’ – mark your calendars to join Vaughan’s award-winning Canada Day celebration on  Saturday, July 1 at Boyd Conservation Area (8739 Islington Ave.) from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., headlined by Sam Roberts Band!

 

Vellore Village Pilot

As part of the Neighbourhood Traffic Calming Plan, we’re testing temporary traffic calming measures in five neighbourhoods to help us refine which measures are best suited for Vaughan. Vellore Village was selected as one of the pilot neighbourhoods through a detailed review of traffic data and consultations with community members, City staff and Members of Council.

Lakeview Estates Pilot

As part of the Neighbourhood Traffic Calming Plan, we’re testing temporary traffic calming measures in five neighbourhoods to help us refine which measures are best suited for Vaughan. Lakeview Estates was selected as one of the pilot neighbourhoods through a detailed review of traffic data and consultations with community members, City staff and Members of Council.

 

New Kleinburg Pilot

As part of the Neighbourhood Traffic Calming Plan, we’re testing temporary traffic calming measures in five neighbourhoods to help us refine which measures are best suited for Vaughan. New Kleinburg was selected as one of the pilot neighbourhoods through a detailed review of traffic data and consultations with community members, City staff and Members of Council.

 

Sonoma Heights Pilot

As part of the Neighbourhood Traffic Calming Plan, we’re testing temporary traffic calming measures in five neighbourhoods to help us refine which measures are best suited for Vaughan. Sonoma Heights was selected as one of the pilot neighbourhoods through a detailed review of traffic data and consultations with community members, City staff and Members of Council.

 

The City of Vaughan Articling Program

The department is currently divided into four practice areas:

•    Municipal Law, including contract and construction law;
•    Litigation, including insurance, labour and employment;
•    Planning litigation, as well development and policy advice;
•    Real Estate, including conveyances and development agreements.

The department provides legal services to all City departments, related municipal corporations and library board, as well as Vaughan Council. As a result, our areas of practice are vast and varied, and include:
