Carrville Corners Pilot

As part of the Neighbourhood Traffic Calming Plan, we’re testing temporary traffic calming measures in five neighbourhoods to help us refine which measures are best suited for Vaughan. Carrville Corners was selected as one of the pilot neighbourhoods through a detailed review of traffic data and consultations with community members, City staff and Members of Council.

Emergency response training exercise on April 25

Vaughan Fire to participate in police-led simulation in the area of Jane Street and Major Mackenzie Drive


Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service (VFRS) is dedicated to providing efficient emergency response and fire protection, prevention, safety and education to those who live, work and visit the city. As part of their ongoing training, VFRS will participate in a planned, co-ordinated, police-led exercise in the area of Jane Street and Major Mackenzie Drive on Tuesday, April 25 starting at 8 a.m.

Lawford Area Traffic Study

About the study

 

This study was undertaken in response to concerns raised by the community regarding speeding, road safety and traffic volume. It assessed traffic operations within the Lawford Road area, which includes Stanton Road, Chatfield Drive and Poetry Drive, and connecting local roads.
