Doctors McLean District Park

The City is taking this opportunity to enhance other elements of the park, including replacing the playground, adding a splashpad, building a new shade structure and adding educational/interpretive signage. Work is anticipated to begin by spring 2025 and be completed by summer 2026. These improvements are being partially funded by the Province of Ontario.

Some park amenities are closing for the season

As fall’s crisp breeze rustles through the leaves, we are preparing to close our park amenities for the season. But that doesn’t mean the outdoor fun is coming to an end! There’s plenty of time to embrace the beauty of our community and continue enjoying Vaughan’s great outdoors.

The following amenities will remain open until the end of November 2023, weather permitting:

  • Basketball courts
