community? Submit a request to have an observance commemorated with a
flag-raising, illumination or proclamation from the City of Vaughan.
These concepts are developed into the City's Vaughan Mills Centre Public Realm and Streetscape Plan, which will serve as a comprehensive reference guide to promote high-quality public and publicly accessible private spaces and a pedestrian-oriented streetscape development in the area. This study is now complete and was approved by Council on November 2021.

Plan. These will outline a progressive path to move the city forward, all while
continuing to deliver more than 200 community programs and services effectively
and efficiently. And you can have a say before they are approved.

With warmer temperatures and rain in the forecast, the City of
Vaughan is preparing to respond to flooding – and there are steps you can take
to be prepared and stay safe!
Please expect water levels and flows in rivers and streams in Vaughan to be higher than normal. The City encourages you to avoid bodies of water as these weather conditions can result in fast-flowing cold water and slippery or unstable banks.
