Get Involved with VMC Transportation Master Plan

Join a Public Information Centre on Thursday, Jan. 30 in the main lobby of the David Braley Vaughan Metropolitan Centre of Community (200 Apple Mill Rd.) to:

  • learn more about the study process to date.
  • hear the recommendations to enhance options for walking, cycling, transit and roads in the VMC.
  • share your thoughts on parking, transportation needs, street connectivity and accessibility, and more.
  • provide input on the draft plan before it’s finalized.

 

VMC Transportation Master Plan Project Updates

The VMC Transportation Master Plan and Millway Avenue and Interchange Way Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) studies were completed concurrently. The VMC Secondary Plan (SP) 2025 was adopted by Council on September 30, 2025 and is expected to be ratified by Council in October 2025. Once ratified, the VMC SP 2025 will be submitted to the Province for approval.
