​Getting around during the winter months can be challenging when the roads are covered in snow and ice. The City of Vaughan has an online tool that will help residents make their way on City streets by showing them where the snowplows are.

​Vaughan City Hall and the Joint Operations Centre will be closed for the festive season on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014 at noon and resume regular business hours on Monday, Jan. 5, 2015. Some City facilities and services will operate on alternate schedules over the holidays.

​Families in need this holiday season will be getting a big hand from Vaughan, as the fifth annual toy drive in support of the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish kicked off yesterday. Students and staff from St. Agnes of Assisi and Guardian Angels Catholic Elementary Schools joined Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua to officially launch the toy drive.
