City of Vaughan Extends Community Centre and Splash Pad Hours in Response to Extreme Heat

The City of Vaughan continues to extend the hours of operation at a number of community centres and splash pads in response to the extreme heat.

Community centre hours have been extended to 11 p.m. at five facilities across the City. Community centres are air conditioned and are equipped with water fountains. Some splash pads will be open until 11 p.m.

The extended hours will continue until the heat advisory has been lifted.

Concord/Thornhill

  • Garnet A. Williams Community Centre, 501 Clark Ave. W.

Woodbridge

  • Al Palladini Community Centre, 9201 Islington Ave.
  • Vellore Village Community Centre, 1 Villa Royale Ave.

Thornhill Outdoor Pool will extend hours until 10 p.m.
