Supervised indoor recreation skating and shinny hockey starts Oct. 8

It’s time to get back on the ice! Starting Saturday, Oct. 8 supervised recreational skating and shinny hockey will return to indoor arenas throughout Vaughan.

Schedules can be viewed at vaughan.perfectmind.com and are available at Al Palladini, Maple and Rosemount community centres and Woodbridge Pool and Memorial Arena. Garnet A. Williams Community Centre remains closed until 2023 for renovations. Pre-registration and pre-payment are available for your convenience seven days in advance of the scheduled skate.

You can also purchase a multi-visit pass membership online at vaughan.perfectmind.com.

For recreational skating, children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Helmets and guards are highly recommended for new skaters and children under the age of eight years old.

Outdoor rinks will open in December, weather permitting.

If you require assistance creating an account or registering call the City at 905-832-2281, email RecCSD@vaughan.ca or visit your local community centre. You can learn more by visiting vaughan.ca/skate.
