Water leaks in your home are more common than you may think. Most leaks are silent, making them hard to spot, and they could be the cause of a higher-than-usual water and wastewater bill. 

The City of Vaughan is providing tips to help you detect a leak before it costs you.

Celebrate Black Canadians at Vaughan City Hall on Feb. 22 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. 

Black Canadians and communities have been vital in shaping Canada’s heritage, culture and identity. The City of Vaughan has proclaimed February as Black History Month, a celebration that brings people together to pay tribute to the remarkable Black Canadians who have made a positive and enduring impact in the community, and highlight the richness of Black cultures and histories.  

All you need to know about the City’s sidewalk-clearing operations

Following the recent major winter storms, the City of Vaughan’s crews continue cleanup efforts to address the large accumulation of snowfall – including on sidewalks throughout the community. Residents walking to school or work are urged to add extra time to their commute and take precautions on sidewalks. 

The City’s Infrastructure Development and Public Works portfolios are hosting an Open House from 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Vaughan Room to mark National Engineering Month, which is held every March.
