Does your neighbour’s home have curb appeal?

Nominate them for the City’s 2024 awards!

The City of Vaughan’s popular Curb Appeal program is back! Every spring, the City celebrates the gardening efforts of residents and businesses that help beautify our community. Does someone in your neighbourhood go above and beyond to make their lawn look flawless? Or maybe there’s a local business nearby that has a beautiful and welcoming entrance? If so, nominate them – it’s easy!

It’s National Public Works Week!

Enjoy FREE family-friendly activities on May 25

The City of Vaughan’s Public Works professionals keep our community clean, safe and beautiful 365 days a year through a variety of programs and services. To recognize this team of 425 dedicated staff, the City is celebrating National Public Works Week until Saturday, May 25 – and you’re invited to join in!

Help keep our parks clean!

As seasonal park amenities open for your enjoyment, the City of Vaughan is reminding you that keeping these spaces safe and clean is a community effort. Every ‘litter’ bit helps; no action to reduce litter is too small!

Littering has a negative impact on the quality of life for everyone. It is harmful to the environment, dangerous for pets and wildlife as they may eat or be injured by discarded items, unpleasant to look at, and costs taxpayer dollars to clean up.
