Place up to six garbage items curbside during the weeks of March 21 or March 28

Spring has sprung, which means you may have already started spring cleaning. To help you dispose of any extra waste, the City of Vaughan has brought back Double-Up Days this week or next, depending on your scheduled collection day! Instead of a three-item garbage limit, you can place up to six garbage items at the curb – no paid tags are required.

Kirby Road is being extended between Dufferin Street and Bathurst Street

​​The City of Vaughan continues to enhance its transportation network to keep residents moving. To accommodate population growth and ensure people can travel throughout Vaughan seamlessly, the City is extending Kirby Road between Dufferin Street and Bathurst Street. The project is well underway and is anticipated to be complete by summer 2026.

Drop off extra organic waste at select community centres now until April 2

Are you spring cleaning your home? If so, you may end up with more organic waste than usual. The City of Vaughan is here to help you properly dispose of extra organics by placing temporary green bins at select community centres!
