It’s Small Business Week in Vaughan
Before throwing away unwanted, gently used items, give them a new life through the City of Vaughan’s Curbside Giveaway Days! There is only one weekend left to participate: Saturday, Oct. 22 and Sunday, Oct. 23.
Vaughan is home to many beautiful flowers, plants and
trees that help enrich the environment. But some of those plants – like noxious
weeds – can be toxic, and it’s important to know what to do if you spot one. The
City of Vaughan is providing resources to help the public identify noxious weeds
and how to prevent coming into contact with them.
With Autumn in full swing, you may have some extra materials to dispose of soon, such as aluminum cooking trays, napkins, pumpkins and more. The City of Vaughan is here to provide waste sorting information you can use to help you on collection days.

As more and more leaves fall to the ground, they may cover the
fire hydrant and catch basin close to your home. When possible, you’re
encouraged to help keep these essential parts of the City of Vaughan’s water
and stormwater systems clean, clear and accessible.
