Vaughan Ward 1 and 2: look for your Voter Information Card in the mail

If you did not receive your card, you can still vote in the 2019 York Region District School Board By-election

Beginning the week of April 8, the City of Vaughan will mail out Voter Information Cards to eligible voters in the York Region District School Board (YRDSB) By-election. Residents are encouraged to keep this card in a safe place and bring it along with one piece of identification when casting their ballot for Trustee, Vaughan Ward 1 and 2.

The City of Vaughan approved a dedicated, accountable and transparent Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) to support the City’s thriving tourism industry.
 
The growing tourism industry in Vaughan contributed $300 million to the City’s gross domestic product (GDP) in 2018 and employs nearly 12,000 people.
