Vaughan ranks high in Citizen survey results

City scores 97 per cent rating in 2018 Citizen Satisfaction Survey

The results are in from the 2018 Citizen Satisfaction Survey and 97 per cent of residents agree – the quality of life is good in the city of Vaughan. The majority of citizens cite a strong sense of community and belonging, with 92 per cent saying they are proud to be from Vaughan and 91 per cent saying it is a welcoming city.

Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of Council have voted to re-establish the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC) Sub-Committee for the 2018-2022 Term of Council. Mayor Bevilacqua spoke to the importance of continuing the VMC Sub-Committee during his keynote address at the inaugural meeting of Council in December 2018.
