Integrity Commissioner presents 2016-2017 annual report

City of Vaughan continues to be a leader in accountability and transparency
 
During a meeting of the City of Vaughan’s Committee of the Whole, Ms. Suzanne Craig, Integrity Commissioner and Lobbyist Registrar, presented the 2016-2017 Integrity Commissioner Annual Report. The annual report details the Integrity Commissioner’s activities, Code of Conduct complaints and inquiries, along with a statement of expenditures.

Mayor’s golf tournament benefits more than 150 not-for-profit organizations


Golfers hit the fairways yesterday at the Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua Annual Charity Golf Classic to raise much-needed funds for more than 150 charities, not-for-profits and community organizations. The annual event was held at Copper Creek Golf Club and the money raised goes towards providing the gift of hope to thousands of people.

Vaughan celebrates National Public Works Week May 20 to 26

The City of Vaughan has more than 475 public works professionals that do important work that may not always be seen. From keeping parks and streets clean to making sure water is running and safe to drink, these people are the core of our community. To honour this profession, Vaughan is kicking off National Public Works Week today with a flag-raising ceremony at the Joint Operations Centre.
