Mayor Bevilacqua opens Vaughan Small Business Week

Annual event supports entrepreneurs and small business owners with personalized learning and networking opportunities

The following is a statement delivered by Vaughan Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua to open Vaughan Small Business Week. Mayor Bevilacqua was joined by Aurora—Oak Ridges—Richmond Hill Member of Provincial Parliament, Michael Parsa, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade (Small Business).

Vote early to avoid the rush

Advance voting starts Oct. 11
 
The City of Vaughan is encouraging residents to take advantage of advance voting from Oct. 11 to 18 and skip the lines on Voting Day – Oct. 22.
 
During the advance vote period, eligible voters can cast their ballot at any voting place regardless of the ward in which they live. There are eight convenient locations, including the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre and Highway 407 subways stations.
