Mayor Bevilacqua to present 2018 Order of Vaughan

Four individuals to be invested with the City’s highest civic honour at special ceremony
 
The Honourable Maurizio Bevilacqua, Mayor of the City of Vaughan, will preside over the Order of Vaughan investiture ceremony on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. at Vaughan City Hall. The Mayor will bestow the honour on four outstanding citizens who have played a pivotal role in shaping the city.

Mayor Bevilacqua launches ninth annual Toy Drive

Donations accepted at any Vaughan community centre, library, fire hall or City Hall

This morning, Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua kicked off the City of Vaughan’s ninth annual toy drive at a televised event from Blessed Trinity Catholic Elementary School.  The toy drive supports the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish 2018. Mayor Bevilacqua was featured on CP24 Breakfast.

Vaughan residents invited to City Hall to contribute to mural project

Every November, Canadians remember the men and women who have served in our armed forces to preserve our country’s freedom and independence. The City of Vaughan is once again honouring their contribution and sacrifice by inviting visitors and staff to write a personal message on paper poppies that will be displayed on the poppy wall in the atrium of Vaughan City Hall until Nov. 12.
