The City of Vaughan in partnership with The Regional Municipality of York, and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), recently marked the official opening of Baker’s Woods – one of the oldest woodlots in Vaughan.
Vaughan Holdings Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the City of Vaughan, has approved the creation of a district energy business with a focus on reducing energy consumption in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.

The City of Vaughan has published its 2010 Report to Citizens, Planning Tomorrow Together, which is being delivered to all Vaughan households and businesses. The report highlights a number of City initiatives from the past year and includes an overview of municipal finances.
