Consent is being requested for an easement for storm water services over 10,000 Dufferin Street (servient land) in favour of the lands to the west, municipally known as 191 McNaughton Road East (dominant land). 

The easement for storm water services over the servient land is described as Part C on the plan submitted. 

The proposed easements will facilitate development associated with related Site Development Application DA.24.015 

Relief from the Zoning By-law is being requested to permit a cabana in the rear yard. 

Relief from the Zoning By-law is being requested to permit the construction of a swimming pool and cabana in the rear yard, driveway extension and reduced front yard landscaping requirements.  

Relief from the Zoning By-law is being requested to permit a proposed enclosed front porch. 

Relief from the Zoning By-law is being requested to permit access to a proposed secondary suite. 

Relief from the Zoning By-law is being requested to permit a proposed cabana and ground mounted pool equipment in the rear yard. 

Relief from the Zoning By-law is being requested to facilitate site development application DA.24.038 which includes the proposal of two (2) 8-storey mid-rise residential buildings containing a total of three-hundred-and-seventy-two (372) apartment dwelling units, six (6) back-to-back townhouse blocks containing fifty-eight (58) back-toback townhouse dwelling units, and two (2) front loaded townhouse blocks containing ten (10) townhouse dwelling units.

Relief from the Zoning By-law is being requested to permit reduced interior side yard (north) setbacks for the proposed building (turfcare facility) and fuel tank. Relief is also required to facilitate related Site Plan Application DA.24.015.

Our annual Nowruz celebration is on March 25 at Vaughan City Hall 

Let’s celebrate the beginning of spring together! You’re invited to join Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council for the City of Vaughan’s second annual Nowruz celebration on Tuesday, March 25, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.).

This event will feature greetings from Mayor Del Duca, traditional musical and dance performances, and complimentary refreshments.
