Fulfill our 'wildest dreams' by joining us as we kick off the summer with live music and fun! 

 

The City of Vaughan’s 30th annual Vaughan Celebrates Concerts in the Park series starts tomorrow, Wednesday, June 12, with Taylor’s Story – Tribute to Taylor Swift in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. At the launch concert, 1,000 free friendship bracelets will be handed out (one per person), while quantities last.

 

This summer, join us for six FREE concerts, presented by TD and event sponsor Tim Hortons, on select Wednesdays from June 12 to July 31, weather permitting, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

 

This year’s lineup features professional entertainment for all ages with genres like disco, pop, oldies and rock. Here is the full schedule:

 

  • Wednesday, June 12: Taylor’s Story – Tribute to Taylor Swift at the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, Transit Square located at 100 New Park Place (free parking).
  • Wednesday, June 26 (Ward 5): The Beatle Band – Tribute to The Beatles at Dufferin District Park, located at 1441 Clark Ave. W.
  • Wednesday, July 10 (Ward 4): Who Made Who – Tribute to AC/DC at North Thornhill Community Centre (Outdoor Amphitheatre), located at 300 Pleasant Ridge Ave. 
  • Wednesday, July 17 (Ward 3): Disco Fever – Tribute to Bee Gees, Donna Summer, ABBA, Diana Ross, KC and The Sunshine, Kool and The Gang, Gloria Gaynor and more at Chancellor District Park, located at 430 Chancellor Dr.
  • Wednesday, July 24 (Ward 1): Desire – Tribute to U2 at Mackenzie Glen District Park, located at 220 Cranston Park Ave. 
  • Wednesday, July 31 (Ward 2): The Jersey Seasons – Tribute to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons at Sonoma Heights Community Park, located at 100 Sunset Ridge.

 

New this year! We're enhancing the pre-concert experience with additional outdoor excitement just for you! Prior to the concert, come and join us for a range of engaging activities, including nature play, scavenger hunts and story walks at the designated location.

 

Accessible parking (limited), pathways and washrooms will be available at each concert location. Parking details for concert locations are available online, including information about park-and-walk options. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
