Join us as we mark the arrival of spring at tomorrow’s Nowruz celebration!

You’re invited to join Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council for the City of Vaughan’s second annual Nowruz celebration tomorrow, Tuesday, March 25, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.).

This event will feature greetings from Mayor Del Duca, traditional musical and dance performances and complimentary refreshments. 

Nowruz, also known as the Persian New Year, marks the arrival of spring and unites communities around the world. It provides opportunity to recognize the invaluable contributions of Iranian, Afghan, Zoroastrian, Bahá’í, Central Asian, Ismaili, Azerbaijani, Tajik and many other Persian communities and acknowledge their strong cultural influence in Vaughan and beyond.
