UPDATE: Promenade Fitness Centre
The temporary facility is closing as of June 19
The temporary fitness facility located in the plaza behind Promenade Mall (7700 Bathurst St., Unit 1) is closing as of Monday, June 19. The last day to workout at this location will be Sunday, June 18.
The closure comes as the City of Vaughan prepares to reopen Garnet A. Williams Community Centre (501 Clark Ave. W.), following a two-year closure for extensive facility renovations.
Until Garnet A. Williams Community Centre opens in early July, Vaughan Fitness members may use any of the other five fitness facilities – including the nearby North Thornhill Community Centre (300 Pleasant Ridge Ave.). If preferred, you may also place a hold on your membership until Garnet A. Williams Community Centre reopens, without penalty. To place your membership on hold, call Service Vaughan at 905-832-2281 or email rec@vaughan.ca.
