‘You should be dancing’ at the next Concerts in the Park
‘Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!’ more music and dancing at the City of Vaughan’s 30th annual Vaughan Celebrates Concerts in the Park event. The series continues with Disco Fever – Tribute to Bee Gees, Donna Summer, ABBA, Diana Ross, KC and The Sunshine, Kool and The Gang, Gloria Gaynor and more on Wednesday, July 17 at Chancellor District Park (430 Chancellor Dr.).
Join us for FREE concerts, presented by TD and event sponsor Tim Hortons, on select Wednesdays until Aug.7, weather permitting, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
This year’s lineup features professional entertainment for all ages with genres like disco, pop, oldies and rock.
Here is the remaining schedule:
- Wednesday, July 17 (Ward 3): Disco Fever – Tribute to Bee Gees, Donna Summer, ABBA, Diana Ross, KC and The Sunshine, Kool and The Gang, Gloria Gaynor and more at Chancellor District Park, located at 430 Chancellor Dr.
- Wednesday, July 24 (Ward 1): Desire – Tribute to U2 at Mackenzie Glen District Park, located at 220 Cranston Park Ave.
- Wednesday, July 31 (Ward 2): The Jersey Seasons – Tribute to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons at Sonoma Heights Community Park, located at 100 Sunset Ridge
- Wednesday, August 7 (Ward 4): Who Made Who – Tribute to AC/DC at North Thornhill Community Centre (Outdoor Amphitheatre), located at 300 Pleasant Ridge Ave.
Accessible parking (limited), pathways and washrooms will be available at each concert location. Parking details for concert locations are available online, including information about park-and-walk options which offers overflow parking, pre-concert fun and engaging activities such as nature play and a self-guided scavenger hunt. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
