With many residents observing Good Friday and Easter this weekend, the City of Vaughan is reminding everyone of facility closures, modified hours and alternate programming from Friday, March 29 to Monday, April 1. Here is all you need to know to plan ahead so you can spend quality time with family, friends and loved ones.

Municipal facilities

Consent is being requested for an easement over Part 1 on the plan submitted with the application (servient land) to permit access to maintain and repair a retaining wall located on the subject land, in favour of the abutting lands to the north municipally known as 777 New Westminster Drive, also described as Part of Lot 6, Concession 2, Described as Parts 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, & 9 on Plan 65R-37034 (dominant land).  The proposed easement will facilitate development associated with related Site Plan Application DA.21.041. 

 Relief from the Zoning By-law is being requested to permit a proposed cabana.  

Relief from the Zoning By-law is being requested to permit the reconstruction of an existing aluminum frame sunroom on the existing foundation.  

Relief from the Zoning By-law is being requested to permit proposed storage (tent structure and shipping containers). 

   Relief from the Zoning By-law is being requested to permit a proposed dwelling.  

Relief from the Zoning By-law is being requested to permit an existing accessory structure (shed) and the enclosure of an existing concrete deck located in the rear yard.  

Consent Application B001/24 was adjourned by the Committee of Adjustment to April 4, 2024 to permit time to address Development Engineering & Development Planning comments.
