It’s almost time for students to start heading back to school! This means more kids and their families will be out and about in the community. The City of Vaughan is reminding drivers to hit the brakes on speeding and put safety in the driver’s seat. Let’s all do our part to continue to keep Vaughan’s roads safe. 

The Host in Vaughan Grant supports events and projects that draw tourists to the city

Tourism is a cornerstone of Vaughan’s economic prosperity, which is why our Tourism Vaughan team launched the Host in Vaughan Grant – a fund to enhance tourism across the city! Applications for the latest intake round are being accepted until Monday, Sept. 30.

As you prepare to enjoy the last long weekend of summer, the City of Vaughan is reminding everyone of facility closures, modified hours and alternate programming on Monday, Sept. 2. Here is all you need to know to plan ahead so you can spend quality time with family, friends and loved ones this Labour Day weekend.
