Join us tomorrow to honour Canada’s brave service members
Attend Vaughan’s Remembrance Day Service at the Woodbridge Cenotaph
Join Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council to honour the brave Canadians who served and continue to serve our country. The City of Vaughan’s Remembrance Day Service will take place tomorrow, Monday, Nov. 11, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Woodbridge Cenotaph (80 Wallace St.).
Following the service, you are welcome to join us at the Woodbridge Memorial Pool and Arena (5020 Hwy 7) for refreshments. Please note, Wallace Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow, and parking will be available at Woodbridge Memorial Pool and Arena.
Throughout November, you are encouraged to share thoughts of remembrance and messages of peace on the City’s poppy wall at Vaughan City Hall. There, you can also view this year’s historical exhibit, Defined by Duty, which pays tribute to the wartime experiences of people from Vaughan and York Region. The exhibit will be on display until Friday, Nov. 15 and available online for one year.
