Join us for an event on Feb. 20 at City Hall

The City of Vaughan invites everyone to attend this year’s Black History Month event on Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.).

The City of Vaughan is introducing you to some of the teams that work hard to support the residents and businesses that call this vibrant community home! Here’s everything to know about the City’s finance teams – the Financial Planning and Development Finance, and Financial Services departments.

While stormwater management ponds may appear safe for playing in – they are not! The City of Vaughan is urging everyone to please keep a safe distance from the ponds as they are not made or intended for recreational use. 

The water service verifications will be completed by the City's contractor, WSP Inc., who will contact ICI property owners by phone to book an appointment for a field inspection before visiting the property. 

The water service verification project will begin in February 2024 and is expected to be completed in 2026. There is no cost to property owners, and project participation is mandatory.

The City of Vaughan is once again offering the Summer Company program, in association with the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, to prepare young entrepreneurs with a comprehensive portfolio of tools, skills, connections and resources required to succeed in business.
