Building Vaughan
Vaughan is a city in demand. And as one of the fastest-growing cities in Canada, it continues to evolve. But city building doesn’t happen overnight. Well before construction begins, developments undergo a careful review by City of Vaughan staff, Vaughan Council, public agencies (such as the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, York Region and provincial ministries, where appropriate) … and you!
It’s cold out!
Are you protecting your water pipes from freezing?

Public Meetings continue in February
City of Vaughan Committee and Council meetings continue in February, with in person and virtual attendance options for Members of Council and the public.
Public consultation remains a vital part of the planning and city-building process. There are many ways you can participate in meetings and have your say, including:
Speaking in-person
Help keep catch basins clean and clear
Whether it warms up outside and some snow melts, or there is rain in the forecast, catch basins need to be kept clear. When catch basins are concealed by snow, ice or debris, there’s nowhere for melting snow or rainwater to drain, which can lead to water ponding and flooding. We need your help preventing this from happening!
