2023: A new contractor with the expertise to complete a construction project of this scale has been hired by the City and work is now resuming.
2022: A newsletter was sent to residents notifying them of construction delays caused by unforeseen circumstances with the hired contractor.

The City of Vaughan is working to enhance Kleinburg Village. The 2023 Vaughan Culture Days Festival Hub will be presented by TD and include free community events taking place from Friday, Sept. 22 to Sunday, Oct. 15.
Edebwed Ogichidaa Kwe or She who speaks the truth (known as Elder Valarie King in English), elder from the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, will lead the Sisters in Spirit Vigil in City of Vaughan for the second year. We invite members of the public to join this event to learn and express solidarity and grief over generations of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and Two-Spirit people.
In 2022, this important event received the People's Choice Spotlight Award through ON Culture Days.
