Vaughan recognized for excellence in legal services
The City of Vaughan’s Legal Services department has been recognized by the Canadian Law Awards for their efforts in making Vaughan a municipal leader in legal innovation and efficiency. During a special ceremonial presentation at today’s Committee of the Whole (1) meeting, Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council recognized the department for receiving the 2024 Law Department Innovation Award.

Congratulations to Anna G., the City of Vaughan’s Mayor for a Day contest winner for 2024!
As Vaughan’s Mayor … for a day, Anna spent today with Mayor Steven Del Duca at Vaughan City Hall, taking meetings, getting introduced to Members of Council and City staff, and seeing the municipal government in action. She also toured the building and attended today’s Committee of the Whole (1) meeting.

Get ready to ride! Bike Month is here, and the City of Vaughan is encouraging you to grab your bike, be active and ride around your neighbourhood.
Bike Month is an annual community-driven celebration that promotes cycling. It is recognized by many municipalities across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) – including Vaughan and York Region. The City has celebrated Bike Month every June since 2014, when it was formally proclaimed. It provides an opportunity to get out on your bicycle, learn new skills and have some fun.
