Advancing Vaughan’s infrastructure
The City of Vaughan welcomes another local off-leash dog area for you and your furry friends to enjoy! The newest off-leash area is in Woodbridge, within Matthew Park at 1 Villa Royale Ave.
The following statement was issued by Vaughan Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua:
"After much thought and personal reflection, today, I announced that I will not seek re-election as Mayor of Vaughan in the upcoming October 2022 municipal election.
Tonight, during the 2022 Vaughan Mayor's Gala, Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua announced a transformational $30-million gift from HBNG Holborn Group, an independent investment and real estate management firm based in Vaughan.
The City of Vaughan’s Double-Up Days are just around the corner! During the weeks of June 14 or 21, depending on your regularly scheduled collection day, you can get rid of excess waste by placing up to six garbage items at the curb – paid tags are not required.
The City of Vaughan is dedicated to fostering a community that is diverse, welcoming and inclusive for all residents. As part of that commitment, everyone is invited to join Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of Council during Pride Week to celebrate the unveiling of a new rainbow crosswalk at City Hall on Tuesday, June 14 at 11 a.m.
